8/12/05a

9:08 a.m. I just got a call from my client on the case I have today. I was supposed to pick up the guy as he left work this afternoon but it appears Subject's going to be leaving on vacation for Wisconsin.

Luckily my bags are still packed. I have no idea where we're going to end up. Isn't this fun??

More later...

Incidentally, I was just finishing up that last blog entry when I heard a sizzling sound outside my window. Then a pop. Then the power blipped off and on again.

Poor squirrel...

i have no pity for squirrels after nearly being assaulted by one while innocently sitting on a park bench... he almost took me out over a freakin' cookie!

Squirrels are not having a good time on the blogs today.

Hey Polly,

Sorry I wasn't able to drink beer as part of an official investigation. That would have been great.

To make up for it, I'm keeping an eye out for your subject in rural Indiana. Is he the one with the hair and the shoes? I'm on it.

So what ever happened to that nightclub investigation (if you're allowed to say)? And what did you end up wearing? And did you successfully troll anyone? I sure ask a lot of questions, don't I?

Mike,

It turned out my guy was only half crooked. And I was hoping to troll C-bol but he was in rural Indiana or something... and couldn't come pretend to be my internet boyfriend.

I'll write an entry about it tomorrow, but it turned out I was able to enlist the help of a nice young man I found in the mall. ;-)

Well, half-crooked isn't so bad. What would you call that? Bent?
