10:28 a.m.

Thanks for all the nice birthday wishes, bloglit! I got called out to a death at 2am this morning and I kept writing my birth year down instead of 2006. I think I'm already getting senile.

It's PollyMom's birthday today, too, by the way. I remember back when I was a kid Mom used to let me stay home from school on our b-day and we'd spend it shopping or doing some other girl thing together. That's where I learned the fine art of playing hookie.

So, not wanting to break tradition, I'm going out to lunch with Pippie from the ME's office this afternoon. And after I've pigged out sufficiently, I'm driving up to MN so that Mom and I can celebrate our birthday together. I'm not sure I'll get there in time for shopping, but at least there'll be cake and ice cream.

Happy Birthday, Mom. I love you!

Happy Birthday Polly!
I hope you have a great lunch with Pippie!

So THAT'S how to be so good at playing hookie. A skill you taught me that I used all through college...

Happy Birthday to you and your mom, Polly. Anyone who can teach her kid the fine art of playing hooky is an okay parent. Have you finished that Easter basket yet?

Hi, guys! It's been a great day thanks to all of you.

Olga, I'll see you Friday or Saturday night?

Higgy...bugger the birthday, indeed!

Cap'n Bob, I have NOT finished the chocolate. I spent a week pigging out on candybars and bonbons, but I wasn't able to devour it all. I left it in Cali where I can work on it agian next time I go out there.

Weasle, I don't know. He hasn't given me my birthday presents yet...I know one is a super dehydrated fruit and veggie supplement pill that is supposed to replace my breakfast of pills every morning...I am skeptical.

Howdy cousins! Thanks for the happy birthday! I'm coming out to your neck of the woods this summer for a week in late July. Will you all be around? I'll be doing some PI work for you when I go back out to Cali at the end of May. I'll keep you posted.

So I went to dinner with Polly and LHM on Saturday night. Depsite Polly and I being great friends and all, this was my first meeting with LHM.
I will preface my next statements by saying that I've never really liked the guys Polly has dated in the past. Sometimes I wonder if she realizes her worth...

ANYWAY, LHM is very tall, with a voice that sounds like Jeremy Sisto's voice (he played Brenda's brother on "Six Feet Under" and Elton on "Clueless" and Jesus on a TV miniseries, among many other roles).
LHM does not, in fact, have light colored hair.
LHM is also very nice and a wealth of information like Cliff on "Cheers." We got along great because I'm also a wealth of useless movie trivia (never play "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" with me).
Needless to say, I like LHM. I think he's good for our Polly.
So go, Polly - you've finally got Olga's stamp of approval (not that it means that much, but what the h*ll). :-)

I think skipping school must be genetic in our family. My mom did similar things. lol.

Happy birthday my cousin! I'm late wishing it to you but I'm always a bit late with those sorts of things. I have the excuse that I was in Europe, but I'm afraid that excuse won't fly too far as I still have a card sitting on my desk that was for your birthday 2 years ago. *sigh*

Hope to see you this summer. That would be fantastic! We need to chat and catch up soon.

And Happy belated Birthday to one of my most favorite aunties as well!!! Love you guys!
