I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while. I just got back from a very, very long honeymoon with LHM and was incommunicado for the entire trip. It was lovely, but I'm glad to be home with my internet and cell phone again.
I missed you all! And I have a very interesting ME story to tell from last week, but first I have to fix a leak under the sink.

HOOOOO-RAY, your back! We missed you terribly, Polly. I hope the honeymoon was everything it could be. I, too, will be incommunicado for about a week, and look forward to the getaway. I only wish I had a babe with me. Alas, just a bunch of grumpy old men and no running water at a remote cabin. Fun, but not wholesome. But enough about me, welcome back and do tell us all that's fit to print about your getaway.

Hello Polly, and Happy New Year to you and LHM. I got back from the cabin earlier today, all achy and smelling like one of your poor decomps. But I found a box of my novels waiting for me (author copies) and discovered I'm getting an extra day of vacation so I can mourn Gerry Ford--one small perk for being a federal employee. And remember my mantra for the new year:
ANYONE BUT HILLARY!
