11:57 p.m. Blame it on the tripe.

I will no longer be experimenting with new and exotic foods. Tonight I ordered a beef tripe soup that tasted like farm. I think they must have marinated it in cow dung before serving it to me. From now on it's McDonald's or if that gets old, Burger King.

From Webster's dictionary:

Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French

1 : stomach tissue of a ruminant and especially of the ox used as food.

No wonder it tasted like farm
