6:33 a.m. The onions that previously called my fridge "home". They're in a pot on my balcony. I figured if they could live through months in a dark, cold box they deserved a chance to see the sun. So far they're doing pretty well.  Posted by Picasa

I'm very happy for your onions Polly. I'm sure there's some sort of good karma that you received by freeing them from the netted bag in the fridge. But I'm a little disturbed by the scared child statue that seems to be cringing away from them. What's up with that? They aren't devil-onions are they?

:)

Larry,

The garden statuary was a gift from Mom. It's two little kids cringing from a puppy that is barking at them.

I swear I've given up on growing things. Never can remember to water them and here in Texas, a day without water for a potted plant outside is death. I think I'll start a movement to remove the label "tacky" from silk plants. They're the only thing I can "grow."
